Yogi Govt to Launch Free Online Coaching Courses for TFW Candidates
In another move to help the underprivileged sections of society, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to launch free online coaching for TET (Teachers Eligibility Test), DLED (Diploma in Elementary Education) and B Ed, modeled on Coaching Abhyudaya.
The government, through the support centres, will help them get the help they need to take the exams.
The state Department of Basic Education said free online coaching will be provided to applicants to the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET).
Dr. Pawan Sachan, Director of DIET, will upload the first Basic Education Examination video on the official DIET Youtube channel on Thursday and the online classes will be held regularly thereafter.
Sachan said, “Earlier we decided to provide free offline lessons for TFW candidates, but in view of the Covid-19 infection, online lessons will be delivered through YouTube and Google Meet.”
He further said that more than 500 candidates applied to join the classes through Google Meet, but since more than 100 people cannot be added to Google Meet, the video was also uploaded to YouTube.
No less than six experts who taught students the tricks of better exam preparation will help candidates prepare for the TET.
Videos created by subject matter experts will also be uploaded to the channel starting Thursday. Even after that, if a candidate has any doubts, the experts will be ready to dispel the doubts.
Sachan said that every 15 days a pattern test will be conducted based on the TET pattern. This will help candidates prepare better for the exam as well as for studying.
The purpose of the online coaching startup is to provide assistance to students who wish to prepare for teaching exams but are unable to do so due to financial restrictions.
