Vertiv appoints Rainer Stiller Chief Marketing Officer

  • Lead Vertiv’s global marketing organization in his new role

Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and business continuity solutions, has appointed Rainer Stiller (photo) as the company’s new chief marketing officer, effective immediately.

In a statement, Vertiv said Stiller will lead its global marketing organization while pursuing its vision to provide customers with a more innovative and personal digital marketing experience.

He said Stiller joined Vertiv in 2017 as vice president of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and was later promoted to vice president of global channel marketing.

During this time, he helped transform Vertiv demand generation, customer experience, digitization of drive-to-order processes, sales force enablement and strategic branding, has he declared.

“Over the past four years, Stiller has led our marketing organization to success by improving our digital experience and pushing Vertiv to be more thoughtful, imaginative and strategic in serving our customers,” said Gary Niederpruem, Chief Strategy Officer and the development of Vertiv.

“His passion for the role marketing plays in our success, both internally and externally, makes him the ideal person to lead our global marketing organization.”

Meanwhile, Stiller said he plans to help Vertiv and its marketing team become even more creative, determined and analytical in our efforts to reach and engage with our customers.

“It is rewarding to be part of an organization where I can lead a diverse, motivated and dedicated global team to make a real difference for our stakeholders,” he said.

Stiller has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles at F500 and Euro Stoxx 50 companies, with roles based in the United States, France and Switzerland.

He graduated from Munich University of Applied Sciences in Marketing and Human Resource Management and learned the ropes of marketing at BMW’s headquarters in Germany.
