Free online coaching for unemployed youth in Punjab: The Tribune India

The district administration is ready to provide free online coaching to unemployed youths for competitive exams under Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobar Mission.

Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said the state government has decided to provide online training for several competitive exams ranging from SSC, PO/bureau banks, RRB, CET, PPSC, PSSSB and other departmental exams to at least a lakh youngsters.

He said the first batch of online coaching for police officer and office positions was to start from the first week of September. Candidates must have completed their degree to apply for the Office Batch while Class XII Midshipmen can apply for the Police Officer Recruitment Batch.

The DC further added that aspiring candidates can apply for these courses by logging into the website to avail the benefit. He said graduates of all majors can apply for these courses, adding that undergraduates can self-register for the courses.

Thori also mentioned that the coaching will be provided by a specialist subject teacher who can teach in English, Hindi and Punjabi as per the competition schedule. Coaching will be provided through an online platform that will be streamed live across the state and candidates will be able to access lectures via desktop/laptops and smartphones, he added.

The DC said candidates can have access to live recorded lectures for review for one year and eight months after their coaching ends. Additionally, candidates will receive content, videos, notes, and other study materials, followed by regular practice and mock tests.

He said the duration of a batch would be at least four months and the coaching would take place in two 1.5 hour sessions six days a week.
