Marketing data platform Improvado raises $22 million

In the US, no-code marketing data aggregation platform Improvado raised $22 million in a Series A funding round. The money will support the continued development of its data platform on revenue, which helps marketers understand how their budget is working and where to invest next.
The proprietary platform enables digital marketers, sellers and advertisers to ingest streams of data and information from separate marketing and sales sources – Facebook, YouTube, TradeDesk, Salesforce and others – and provide an integrated picture of all marketing efforts and their impact on sales.
The new funding was led by Updata Partners and follows a funding round that included investments from the CEOs of BlueKai, LiveRamp and PubMatic. Improvado CEO Daniel Kravtsov (pictured) comments: “With 90% of advertising budgets being wasted and an average corporate marketing department employing around 92 vendors, it’s difficult for revenue managers to make informed decisions. due to data fragmentation.While the modern data stack has come to the rescue, building it in-house requires multiple different vendors and a strong commitment to analytics, DevOps, and engineering. we built Improvado, a single platform that requires no code and allows revenue teams to focus on deeper insights and pure performance.”
