PointsBet bolsters its US marketing team with two new appointments

Sydney-listed betting and gaming operator PointsBet has appointed Ansley O’Neal as Vice President of Brand Strategy and Marketing and Josh Powell as Director of Brand Marketing for PointsBet USA .

O’Neal joins the company from the International Olympic Committee, where she served as Head of the Olympic Program Commission before taking on the role of Head of Global Partnerships with responsibility for key accounts such as Coca Cola and Samsung.

In his new role at PointsBet USA, O’Neal will oversee the creation and implementation of brand and marketing strategies and will report to Chief Marketing Officer Kyle Christensen.

Powell will report to O’Neal and take responsibility for the design and execution of campaigns in the sports betting space.

He joins branding and content agency operator The Tenth Man, where he had served as digital and social director since August 2018, having held several positions at Paddy Power Betfair, including head of engagement. international brand.

Shares in PointsBet Holdings Ltd. (ASX: PBH) closed down 5.79% at 2.28 Australian dollars per share in Sydney on Friday, with the market closed on Monday June 13.
