Born in Spain, since migrated to San Francisco, and now retroactive across Europe, e-learning platform for creatives Domestika has raised $110 million in a Series D funding round, now giving the company a valuation of $1.3 billion.

Having simultaneously launched services in England, France, Germany and Italy in the middle of last year, Domestika’s new ink on the pen, film in the camera, paint on the palette, will mainly be used to support the growth of the company’s presence in the UK. . Like many successful startups, Domestika comes from humble beginnings. What started as an online forum designed to help creative professionals connect and learn from each other has now grown into a platform offering over 2,000 courses taught by 1,300 creative professionals, with over 110 new courses uploaded every month. Likewise, since its beginnings as a formalized company in 2010, this “small” community has paved the way for more than 13 million courses taken.

Domestika’s $110m Series D funding round was led by Zeev Ventures and saw participation from GSV and other private investors.
