ONLINE COACHING COURSES: US Soccer offers basic education

CHICAGO – US Soccer has announced the launch of the final three online Basic Coaching Programs, which have completed the rollout of the federation’s new Basic Coach Education Pathway.

The rollout is part of the American Football Coaching Education Department’s ongoing efforts to provide accessible education for all coaches.

With the launch of the 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 Online Basic Football Courses, coaches across the country will receive football education tailored to their specific coaching needs through the Digital Coaching Center ( DCC) from US Soccer.

“The introduction of Grassroots 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 courses online and in person has been a major milestone for the game in our country. The three new online foundation courses come after the free introductory online module and 4v4 online course were introduced in February, along with the four in-person foundation license courses (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11 ), which are operated by US Soccer member organizations. .

These nine educational opportunities, including the eight core licensing courses, complete the Grassroots Pathway segment of the complete American Football Coaching License Pathway.

Coaches will begin their journey along the Coach Development Pathway with the Introduction to Basic Coaching module before progressing to one of eight foundational courses, which consist of online and in-person courses focused on the four coaching models. base game: 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11.
